Beach Butterfly Experience:

Just the other day I was on the beach reading a very special book of prayers. As I sat on the beach with my book, a dark blackish-brown butterfly landed on my book. I thought to myself, “How sweet.” The butterfly’s identical mate flittered over and they both flew away.

As I continued to read about inner silence, the butterfly landed again on my book, “Hmm, I thought to myself. That is interesting, twice in a row.” Again his mate fly near and they bother skipped away merrily.

Then, you guessed it, the butterfly landed again on the same spot on my little book for a third time. This time I thought, “Oh s_ _t!! Guess it’s time to keep very alert.”  I have known for months change was coming my way, but a butterfly, the same butterfly landing three times!! There is no mistaking that as a strong sign from God/Creator/Universe. Thank you dear butterfly…

As a foot note, that evening driving home from work, for the entire 45 minute drive, there was sunshine at my back, and to my front a huge dark cloud with a gigantic rainbow. Its shape changed only slightly as its colorful canvas was smeared by the rain pouring from the clouds which housed it. And just as I pulled into my drive way it was gone.

Butterflies and rainbows in one day, all I can say is wow, what a gift!
